Layni G. Miramontes is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Political Science. Layni G. Miramontes received her Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Family Law from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2023, where she received the Class of 2023 Concentration Honors in Family Law Award. Layni specializes in family law, including divorce, post-decree matters, allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, and paternity. In addition, Layni G. Miramontes also handles estate planning.

During law school, Layni G. Miramontes served as a Staff Member of the Vol. 40 Journal of Law & Inequality and an Editor of the Vol. 41 Journal of Law & Inequality. She also acted as a Student Attorney and Student Director in the University of Minnesota Family Law Clinic, where she assisted numerous clients navigate the divorce process.

Layni G. Miramontes is an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association.
